പുതുമകൾ തേടുന്നവർ

വഴിവക്കിൽ ഭിക്ഷയാചിച്ചുകൊണ്ട് ഒരുവൻ ഇരിക്കുന്നു. “കണ്ണുകാണാത്തവനാണേ, വല്ലതും തരണേ” എന്നു വിളിച്ചു പറയുന്നുണ്ട്. ഒരു വഴിപോക്കൻ ഒരു നാണയത്തുട്ട് യാചകന്റെ പത്രത്തിലേക്കിട്ടു. നാണയം പാത്രത്തിൽ നിന്നും തെറിച്ചു പുറത്തു വീണു. ഉടനെ യാചകൻ അതെടുത്തു പാത്രത്തിലിട്ടു. ഇതുകണ്ട വഴിപോക്കൻ ചോദിച്ചു, “തനിക്കു കണ്ണു കാണില്ലെങ്കിൽ പിന്നെ എങ്ങനെ നാണയം പുറത്തു വീണതു കണ്ടു”? യാചകൻറെ മറുപടി- “സാർ, എനിക്കു കണ്ണുകാണാം; ചെവിക്കാണു കേഴ്വി ഇല്ലാത്തത്”. ഈ കഥ ഇപ്പോൾ ഓർക്കാൻ കാരണമായതു കഴിഞ്ഞദിവസം കണ്ട ഒരു രോഗശാന്തി ശുശ്രൂഷയുടെ വീഡിയോ ക്ലിപ്പ് ആണ്. ചെവി കേൾക്കാൻ കഴിയാത്ത ഒരാളോടു രോഗശാന്തിവീരൻ പറയുന്നു- “ചെവിയിൽ വിരൽ ഇടൂ; ദൈവം നിന്നെ സൗഖ്യമാക്കാൻ പോകുന്നു”. ഉടനെ “കേൾവിയില്ലാത്ത” ആൾ രണ്ടു ചെവിയിലും വിരലുകൾ ഇടുന്നു! രോഗശാന്തിയുടെ പേരിൽ നടക്കുന്ന തട്ടിപ്പുകൾ. ഇങ്ങനെ എത്രയോ ഉദാഹരണങ്ങൾ നാം ദിവസവും കാണുന്നു; കേൾക്കുന്നു.

പരിശുദ്ധാത്മാവിന്റെ വരങ്ങളിൽ ഏറ്റവും അധികം ദുരുപയോഗം ചെയ്യപ്പെടുന്ന വരമാണ് രോഗശാന്തി. പെന്തെക്കോസ്തുകാർ മാത്രമല്ല, സർവ്വ ജാതി മതസ്ഥരും രോഗശാന്തിക്കായി ദിവ്യന്മാരെയും മുല്ലാക്കമാരെയും മന്ത്രവാദികളെയും തേടി നടക്കുന്നു. പുണ്യസ്ഥലങ്ങളും ധ്യാനകേന്ദ്രങ്ങളും അന്വേഷിക്കുന്നു. അതുകൊണ്ടുതന്നെ അതിന്റെ പേരിൽ നടക്കുന്ന തട്ടിപ്പുകളും മുതലെടുപ്പുകളും നിരവധിയാണ്. സാമ്പത്തിക പ്രതിസന്ധിയിലൂടെ കടന്നുപോകുന്ന ചിലർ കടബാധ്യതകൾ അപ്രത്യക്ഷമാകുമെന്നു ചിന്തിച്ചും ബാങ്ക് അക്കൗണ്ടിൽ പണം വന്നു നിറയുമെന്നു പ്രതീക്ഷിച്ചും ആത്മീയ ഗുരുക്കളെ പിന്തുടരുന്നു. അത്ഭുതങ്ങളും അടയാളങ്ങളും കാട്ടി ജനത്തെ കബളിപ്പിക്കുന്നവരും കുറവല്ല. ആത്മവരങ്ങൾ അത്ഭുതം കാണിക്കാനായി ഉപയോഗിക്കാനുള്ളതല്ല; പ്രഘോഷിക്കപ്പെടുന്ന ദൈവവചനത്തെ സാധൂകരിക്കാനും വചനത്തെ ഉറപ്പിക്കാനുമായിട്ടാണ് വീര്യപ്രവർത്തികൾ. ദൈവമാണ് വീര്യം പ്രവർത്തിക്കുന്നത്, അല്ലാതെ ഏതെങ്കിലും ഒരു വ്യക്തിയല്ല. ആത്മവരങ്ങൾ പേരിനോ പെരുമക്കൊ പണസമ്പാദനത്തിനോ ആകരുത്.

എന്തുകൊണ്ടു ദൈവമക്കൾ എന്നഭിമാനിക്കുന്നവരും പരിശുദ്ധാത്മാവിനാൽ നയിക്കപ്പെടുന്നവർ എന്ന് അവകാശപ്പെടുന്നവരും വചനപരിജ്ഞാനം ഉണ്ടെന്നു ഊറ്റംകൊള്ളുന്നവരും കബളിക്കപ്പെടലിന് ഇരകൾ ആകുന്നു? വിദ്യാസമ്പന്നരും ഉയർന്ന ജീവിത നിലവാരമുള്ളവരും വ്യാജന്മാരുടെ കെണിയിൽ അകപ്പെടാൻ കാരണമെന്ത്? കൈവീശുമ്പോൾ ആടാനും ഉന്തുമ്പോൾ വീഴാനും പറയുമ്പോൾ ഛർദിക്കാനും തയ്യാറായി സ്റ്റേജിലേക്ക് തള്ളിക്കയറാൻ വിശ്വാസികൾ എന്തുകൊണ്ട് തിരക്കു കൂട്ടുന്നു? ജനത്തിനു ദിശാബോധം നൽകേണ്ട ദൈവദാസന്മാരും അവരുടെ ഭാര്യമാരും എന്തുകൊണ്ട് മൗനം പാലിക്കുന്നു? ഗൗരവമായി ചിന്തിക്കേണ്ട വിഷയമാണ്. മാനസികമായി നിസ്സഹായത അനുഭവപ്പെടുന്നവരും ബലഹീന വിശ്വാസികളായവരുമാണു പ്രലോഭനങ്ങളിൽ പെട്ടെന്നു വീണുപോകുന്നത്. എന്നു മാത്രമല്ല, പലർക്കും അവരുടെ ഇപ്പോഴത്തെ ആത്മീക അവസ്ഥയിൽ വേണ്ടത്ര സംതൃപ്തിയില്ല. ആത്മാവിൽ നിറഞ്ഞതുകൊണ്ടോ അന്യഭാഷകളിൽ ആരാധിച്ചതുകൊണ്ടോ അവർക്കു തൃപ്തിവരുന്നില്ല. കൂടുതൽ കൂടുതൽ അനുഭവങ്ങൾക്കും പുതിയ ആത്മസാക്ഷാത്കാരത്തിനും വേണ്ടി അവർ ആഗ്രഹിക്കുന്നു. അതിനുവേണ്ടി എന്തും കാട്ടിക്കൂട്ടാൻ അവർ തയ്യാറാവുന്നു; ഉപദേശമോ പരിശുദ്ധാത്മപ്രവർത്തനമോ ഒന്നും അവർക്കു വിഷയമല്ല. മറ്റു ചിലർ നാളുകളായി പരിശുദ്ധാത്മനിറവിനായി കാത്തിരിക്കുന്നവരാണ്. ഉന്തിയിട്ടായാലും തള്ളിയിട്ടായാലും ഒന്ന് വീണുകിട്ടിയാൽ ആത്മനിറവു പ്രാപിച്ചു എന്ന സമാധാനത്തിൽ ശിഷ്ടമുള്ള കാലം കർത്താവിന്റെ പ്രത്യക്ഷത കാത്തിരിക്കാം. കൂട്ടുവിശ്വാസികളുടെയും സഭാ പാസ്റ്ററുടെയും അംഗീകാരവും ലഭിക്കും. ചുളുവിൽ കാര്യം സാധിക്കാം എന്നാണവർ കരുതുന്നത്. ആത്മാവെന്താ, ആത്മനിറവെന്താ എന്നൊന്നും അറിയാത്ത പാവങ്ങൾ. വല്ല പുതുമയും കേൾക്കയോ കാണുകയോ ചെയ്യാം എന്നു ചിന്തിച്ചു യോഗങ്ങളിൽ പങ്കെടുക്കുന്നവരും കുറവല്ല.

കർത്താവു പഠിപ്പിച്ചതോ അപ്പോസ്തോലന്മാർ ആചരിച്ചതോ ലേഖനങ്ങളിൽ വ്യക്തമായി എഴുതുകയോ ചെയ്യാത്തതിനെ ഉപദേശമായോ ആചാരമായോ ശുശ്രൂഷയായോ അംഗീകരിക്കുവാൻ സാധ്യമല്ല എന്ന നിലപാടാണ് സഭകൾ എക്കാലവും പിന്തുടരുന്നത്. ഓരോ വിശ്വാസിയുടെയും ആത്മീക ജീവിതത്തിനു ആവശ്യമായതെല്ലാം പരിശുദ്ധാത്മപ്രചോദനത്താൽ വിശുദ്ധ വേദപുസ്തകത്തിൽ പ്രതിപാദിച്ചിരിക്കുന്നു. വേദപുസ്തകത്തിൽ ഇല്ലാത്തതിനെ അംഗീകരിക്കാനോ കൂടിവരവുകളിൽ അനുവദിക്കാനോ പാടില്ല. “യേശു ചെയ്തതു മറ്റു പലതും ഉണ്ടു; അതു ഓരോന്നായി എഴുതിയാൽ എഴുതിയ പുസ്തകങ്ങൾ ലോകത്തിൽ തന്നേയും ഒതുങ്ങുകയില്ല” എന്ന വചനം ഉദ്ധരിച്ചു വേദപുസ്തകത്തിൽ പറയാത്ത പലതും കർത്താവു ചെയ്തു എന്നും അതുകൊണ്ടു ഇന്ന് കാണുന്ന പലതും അംഗീകരിക്കാം എന്നും പറയുന്നവർ ഉണ്ട്. അവർ എടുത്തുകാണിക്കുന്ന മറ്റൊരു വേദഭാഗം “ഞാൻ ചെയ്യുന്ന പ്രവൃത്തി എന്നിൽ വിശ്വസിക്കുന്നവനും ചെയ്യും; ഞാൻ പിതാവിന്റെ അടുക്കൽ പോകുന്നതുകൊണ്ടു അതിൽ വലിയതും അവൻ ചെയ്യും” എന്നതാണ്. വീഴ്ത്തൽ, വിശുദ്ധ ചിരി, കുര, ഗർജ്ജനം, ഛർദി, പുതപ്പിക്കൽ, പകർച്ച, പാമ്പു പിടുത്തം, തുടങ്ങിയ ഇന്നുകാണുന്ന പല നൂതന പ്രയോഗങ്ങളുമാണ് കർത്താവു പറഞ്ഞ “വലിയ” കാര്യങ്ങൾ എന്നാണവരുടെ വാദം. എന്നാൽ കർത്താവു ചെയ്തതോ കർത്താവിൽ വിശ്വസിക്കുന്നവർ ചെയ്യും എന്ന് കർത്താവു പഠിപ്പിച്ചതോ ആയ കാര്യങ്ങൾ സഭക്ക് ആവശ്യമുള്ളതായിരുന്നുവെങ്കിൽ അതു വേദപുസ്തകത്തിൽ പരിശുദ്ധാത്മാവ് കുറിച്ചുവെക്കുമായിരുന്നു. വേദപുസ്തകത്തിൽ ഇല്ലാത്തതിനെ സഭകളിൽ നുഴയിച്ചു കൊണ്ടുവരരുത്.

ദമസ്കൊസിന്റെ പടിവാതുക്കൽ വെച്ച് പൗലോസിനു ദൈവിക ദർശനം ഉണ്ടായപ്പോൾ നിലത്തുവീണു. ഒരിക്കൽ താൻ മൂന്നാം സ്വർഗ്ഗത്തോളം എടുക്കപ്പെട്ടു. പത്രോസിനു യോപ്പയിൽ വെച്ചും അപ്പോസ്തോലനായ യോഹന്നാനു പത്മൊസ് ദ്വീപിൽ വെച്ചും ആത്മ വിവശതയുണ്ടായി. അവർക്കെല്ലാം അതിനോട് ചേർന്ന് സ്വർഗ്ഗീയ ദർശനവും ദൈവീക അരുളപ്പാടുകളും ഉണ്ടായി. ഇതെല്ലം ഒറ്റപ്പെട്ട അനുഭവങ്ങൾ ആണ്. അതുപോലെയുള്ള അനുഭവങ്ങൾ ഇന്നും വ്യക്തികൾക്കുണ്ടാകാം. എന്നാൽ വ്യക്തിഗത അനുഭവങ്ങളെ ഉപദേശമായോ ശുശ്രൂഷയായോ വേദപുസ്തകം അംഗീകരിക്കുന്നില്ല. വ്യക്തികൾക്ക് ആത്മവിവശത അനുഭവപ്പെടുമ്പോഴും നിലത്തു വീഴുമ്പോഴും സ്വർഗീയ ശബ്ദം കേൾക്കുകയോ ദർശനം ഉണ്ടാവുകയോ രോഗസൗഖ്യം പ്രാപിക്കുകയോ ചെയ്യുന്നുണ്ടോ എന്നതാണ് പ്രസക്തം. അല്ലാതെ വെറുതെ തലകുത്തി വീണിട്ടു പ്രയോജനമില്ല. പിന്നിൽ താങ്ങാൻ ആളില്ലെങ്കിൽ, അഥവാ താങ്ങുന്നവർക്കു ശേഷിയില്ലെങ്കിൽ, ആ വീഴ്ച്ച ഭയങ്കരമായിരിക്കും.
