യഹൂദ ജനം
കൂടാരപെരുന്നാൾ ആഘോഷിക്കുന്നതിന്റെ ഒടുക്കത്തെ ദിനമായ
മഹാദിനത്തിൽ യെരൂശലേം ദൈവാലയത്തിൽ
കൂടിവന്ന പുരുഷാരത്തെ നോക്കി കർത്താവായ യേശുക്രിസ്തു പറഞ്ഞു: “ദാഹിക്കുന്നവൻ എല്ലാം എന്റെ അടുക്കൽ വന്നു കുടിക്കട്ടെ; എന്നിൽ വിശ്വസിക്കുന്നവന്റെ ഉള്ളിൽ നിന്ന് തിരുവെഴുത്ത് പറയുന്നതുപോലെ ജീവജലത്തിന്റെ നദികൾ ഒഴുകും ” (യോഹ.7:38). യിസ്രായേൽജനം മരുഭൂമിയിൽ കൂടാരങ്ങളിൽ പാർത്തതിന്റെ അനുസ്മരണമായിട്ടാണ് ഈ പെരുന്നാൾ ആഘോഷിച്ചു വന്നത്.

ജീവനുള്ള വെള്ളം യെരൂശലേമിൽ നിന്നും ഒഴുകുന്ന ഒരു ദിവസത്തെപ്പറ്റി സെഖര്യാ പ്രവചനത്തിൽ പറഞ്ഞിട്ടുണ്ട്. “അന്നാളിൽ ജീവനുള്ള വെള്ളം യെരൂശലേമിൽ നിന്നു പുറപ്പെട്ടു പാതി കിഴക്കേ കടലിലേക്കും പാതി പടിഞ്ഞാറെ കടലിലേക്കും
ഒഴുകും ” (സെഖ.14.9).

കൂടാരപ്പെരുന്നാളിന്റെ ഓരോ ദിവസവും ശീലോഹാം കുളത്തിൽ നിന്നും ഓരോ കുടം വെള്ളം കോരി
കിദ്രോൻയിലേക്ക് ഒഴുക്കുന്ന ചടങ്ങ് യേശുവിന്റെ കാലത്ത് നിലവിലിരുന്നു. ഈ ചടങ്ങ് നടന്നുകൊണ്ടിരിക്കുമ്പോൾ ആയിരിക്കണം യേശു ജീവജലത്തിന്റെ നദിയെപ്പറ്റി പറഞ്ഞത്.

യേശുക്രിസ്തുവിൽ വിശ്വസിക്കുന്നവർക്ക് സമൃദ്ധിയായി ലഭിക്കുന്ന പരിശുദ്ധാത്മാവിന്റെ അനുഭവങ്ങളെപ്പറ്റിയാണ് യേശു പറഞ്ഞത്. കർത്താവിന്റെ

ജീവജലനദികൾ നമ്മുടെ ഉള്ളിൽ നിന്നും പുറത്തേക്ക് പ്രവഹിക്കണം. പരിശുദ്ധാത്മാവിന്റെ കവിഞ്ഞൊഴുക്ക് ഓരോ വിശ്വാസിയുടെയും ഉള്ളിൽ നിന്നും ഉണ്ടാകണം. പരിശുദ്ധാത്മാവിൽ നിറഞ്ഞു ജീവിക്കുവാൻ ആണ് ക്രിസ്തു ആഹ്വാനം ചെയ്തത്. പരിശുദ്ധാത്മാവ് സമാധാനത്തിന്റെയും ശാന്തിയുടെയും ആത്മാവാണ്. അത് സകല പ്രതികൂലങ്ങളെയും തരണം ചെയ്യുവാൻ സഹായിക്കുന്നു. പരിശുദ്ധാത്മനിറവിൽ ജീവിതം നയിക്കുവാൻ കർത്താവ് നമ്മെ സഹായിക്കട്ടെ.
